However, that is not the case in today's society. I have made this website to help you make an informed decision for when that time comes. Please note: I am not a health care provider. Just an individual with a uterus!

Access to Birth Control

If you are located in or have easy access to transportation to an "abortion and birth control - friendly" state, you can get birth control and condoms from pharmacies, hospital, clinics, or Plan Parenthood sites. Depending on your insurance provider, you can get your birth control and abortion procedures for little to no cost. Usually, clinics and hospitals provide free condoms. Also, they provide birth control and abortion services.

However, if you live in a restrictive state, here are some tips:

  • You can ask a trusted acquitance to send you some birth control
  • if you have the financial means, you can travel to non-restrictive state to get the procedure and/or BC meds
  • You can order birth control pills on online, depending on your states law.
  • Some companies provide financial assistance for abortion and other birth control methods. Talk to your company's HR.
  • As of 2022, condoms, spermicide and contraceptive gel, and emergency contraception pills, like Plan B, are available to purchase at drugstores without a prescription
  • As of 2022, Diaphragms, cervical caps, birth control rings, birth control patches, a new contraceptive gel called Phexxi, and birth control pills are available with a prescription.
  • As of 2022, IUDs and sterlization procedures are still legal in all states
  • Some states banned abortion pills. Check you states law for any loopholes
